Lisa's clubs are currently running at Acorn Nursery Burton Latimer and Kettering Park Hotel & Spa. Courses can be customised for your school or community group. She is also a fully qualified primary school teacher, artist and mother to three boys.
LOCAL ART WORKSHOPS
Adult Art & Craft Classes at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa
The workshops are for all abilities and are limited to a small number. We run for 6 weeks during term time and start on Tuesday November 12th 10.00am-12.00pm and Wednesday November 13th 12.30-2.30pm.
This term we will be learning to draw and paint and use a variety of mediums and all materials are included. We have an introductory offer of just £10 per 2 hour session paid in advance (usual price is £15). Go to our Paypal secure payment button at the top of the page for payment and reserve your space (limited numbers). Total cost for the Autumn Introductory Classes £60 (usually £90). Just bring along an apron, old shirt or clothing.
If you want to purchase your own equipment to use between classes, the materials list is;
A4 or A3 Sketch pad
Set of sketching pencils
Putty rubber
Workshops for Children at Acorn Nursery, Burton Latimer
The workshops are for children ages 6 to 16, but if your child is 5 years or below, they are welcome but an adult will need to accompany them. The session runs 1-3.00pm, three Saturday's each month. Children create art from a range of materials, including recycled materials, and learn a range of art techniques. Children are also able to share their work in regular exhibitions.
To keep costs to a rate well below other arts workshops, we ask that the fee (equivalent to £10.00 a session) is paid at the beginning of each month. Children will just need to bring an old adults shirt or apron, to protect their clothing, a drink, snack and a smile.
